Senior point guard Michael Dixon and incoming freshman Dominique Bull have been suspended indefinitely for the start of this basketball season, according to Terez Paylor of the Kansas City Star.

Coach Haith announced the two suspensions today. He would not say what the two players did to warrant a suspension, just saying it was a violation of team rules. Haith did confirm, however, that it was not a NCAA or legal matter.

The suspension has apparently been in the works for a couple of weeks. Bull, an incoming freshman new to the team, has been practicing recently, but Dixon has not.

Michael Dixon was a star sixth man off the bench for the Tigers last season. He is expected to start for Mizzou this season in his senior year. Dixon was honored by the SEC media last week, being named to the second team in the preseason honors. This hasn't been Dixon's first suspension at Missouri. Two seasons ago he was suspended by coach Mike Anderson indefinitely for a violation of team rules. Dixon ended up missing only a handful of games.

With a recent string of bearhugging going around on campus this week, no violation goes unnoticed here at MU.
