College Football Expert Unveils SEC Power Rankings Ahead Of 2016 Season

Danny Sheridan, a sports handicapper and analyst for USA TODAY, unveiled his SEC football power rankings on The Paul Finebaum Show this evening.

They're fairly surprising.

Sheridan has two teams ahead of the defending national champions, Alabama. He believes both LSU and Tennessee are superior to Nick Saban's squad heading into the fall.

LSU and Tennessee both get to play Alabama at home this season, so it's not crazy to think that the Crimson Tide will lose to the Tigers and the Volunteers.

Still, it's weird to see Alabama ranked No. 3 on anyone's SEC power rankings before the season starts.
