Former Mizzou Basketball Player Michael Dixon Officially Transferring To Memphis

Have fun in the AAC, Mike.

Hey Mizzou fans, remember Michael Dixon?

The valuable sixth man on the 2011-2012 team who played starter's minutes?

The former Tigers point guard who loved to take NBA range 3-pointers in transition with 30 seconds left on the shot clock?

The guy who was supposed to be the second best player on the 2012-2013 team and provide senior leadership as Missouri transitioned to the SEC?

The player whose early season suspension and eventual transfer from the team was the start of a nightmare season that included the NCAA investigating the head coach, road struggles and a heartless effort in the NCAA Tournament?

If that rings a bell for anyone, Dixon was back in the news today.

Dixon, who was accused of sexual assault twicebut never charged, joins the Tigers for their first year in the AAC. During the 2011-2012 season, he averaged 13.5 points per game and 3.3 assists per game for the Tigers.
