Fox Sports' Stewart Mandel On SEC Fans Bashing Ohio State's Schedule: "Try Beating Them This Time"

We're just one week into the 2015 college football season, and we've already got a national debate regarding strength of schedule. Specifically, a few SEC head coaches - Mississippi State's Dan Mullen and Arkansas' Bret Bielema - think that Ohio State's 2015 slate doesn't compare to what their teams have to endure. In short, they think that the Buckeyes have a much easier road to get to the College Football Playoff.

Well, at least one national sports columnist is already tired of the argument. Fox Sports' Stewart Mandel, apparently after watching The Paul Finebaum Show for a few too many hours, took to Twitter to issue a message to SEC fans. Check it out:

">@finebaum show is now just 4 hours of SEC fans calling in to whine about Ohio State's schedule. What is it they want to happen?

Mandel does have a point - the SEC, barring an unlikely scenario, will have a representative in the playoff. So fans of SEC squads will have the chance to see - again - how their champion stacks up against the Buckeyes.

What do you think? Is this already a tired argument? Or are we headed for a weekly debate on this topic?
