Kansas Fans Rallying To Donate To Cancer Fund For Mizzou Assistant's 6-Year-Old Daughter

Rhyan Loos, the six-year-old daughter of Missouri assistant Brad Loos and the granddaughter of Austin Peay head coach Dave Loos, is currently battling neuroblastoma - a rare form of childhood cancer. This week, she and her family got some support from an unexpected source.

According to The Kansas City Star, a 2004 Kansas graduate named Camille Andress has begun a movement to help donate to the #RallyforRhyan campaign. She's asking Jayhawks fans to put aside the rivalry with Mizzou and donate $26 - the point spread of the game between KU and Austin Peay - to the cause.

“I love the idea of Jayhawks showing love to others, especially a Mizzou family!” wrote Andress, a 2004 KU graduate who is a licensed professional counselor in the Chicago area. “I can’t imagine what the family is going through, and my hope is truly that they would just feel the love that can come from even a rival and have their spirits lifted.”

Very cool, to say the least.
