Kansas Writer: Half Of The SEC Reached Out To KU After New Non-Conference P5 Game Rule Was Announced
When the SEC announced a new rule that required each member school to play at least one other power five conference team every season in non-conference play, there were many jokes made at the expense of Big 12 also-ran Kansas. According to Kansas writer Rustin Dodd, it sounds now like those jokes were quite valid.

According to Nationalchamps.net, here are the non-conference games that KU has booked. With the Big 12's nine game conference schedule, the Jayhawks are pretty much full until 2018 at the earliest.
2015: vs. South Dakota State, vs. Memphis, @ Rutgers
2016: vs. Ohio, @ Memphis, vs. Hawaii
2017: @ Hawaii, vs. Central Michigan, @ Ohio
2018: @ Central Michigan, vs. Rutgers
2019: @ Houston
2020: vs. Houston
2023: vs. Illinois
2024: @ Illinois
