Latest AP Poll Released, Features A New No. 1 Team

The dust has settled on college football's rivalry week, and after one of the craziest weekends of the year, we have a new No. 1 team in this week's edition of the AP Poll. Like the Coaches' Poll, which was released earlier today, Alabama is the No. 1 team in the country. Last week's top-ranked team -- Florida State -- is No. 2 in this week's edition of the poll. The top five is rounded out by No. 3 Oregon, while a pair of Big 12 teams, TCU and Baylor, are ranked the fourth and fifth best squads in the country, respectively.

The rest of the top 10 mirrors this week's Coaches' Poll. Ohio State and Michigan State are the sixth and seventh best teams in the country, while the rest of the top 10 is rounded out by Arizona, Kansas State and Mississippi State. The highest ranked three-loss team in the country is Ole Miss, which comes in at No. 13, while the highest ranked four-loss team is No. 20 Auburn.
