Former Missouri QB Marvin Zanders Praises James Foster's Decision To Decommit From Tigers

Missouri lost a quarterback commit on Friday, and one of its former QBs thinks that it was a very good decision by the high school recruit.

On Thursday, three-star quarterback James Foster backed off of his pledge to the struggling Tigers program.

He has been receiving interest from a number of big SEC programs, including Alabama, Georgia, and LSU.

After making his announcement, he received some praise by a somewhat unlikely source: former Missouri QB Marvin Zanders.

Zanders also retweeted this message from a fan, as noticed by SB Nation's Mizzou blog Rock M Nation.

Zanders left Missouri during the off-season with the intention of playing as a graduate transfer at Virginia, but wasn't allowed to enroll.

In 2016, he completed 10-of-12 passes for the Tigers, for a total of 114 yards and a touchdown.
