Missouri quarterback Maty Mauk, who was suspended during the season and came under more fire this week when video of him using drugs surfaced on the internet, has been dismissed from the program permanently.
Mizzou head coach Barry Odom announced the news in a statement to the media, declaring that the video was not the impetus behind Mauk’s dismissal.

Mauk still has a year of eligibility remaining, so hopefully he lands on his feet from a football standpoint. More importantly, let’s hope he is able to get the help he needs and overcome the issues that have plagued him.
