Missouri head coach Gary Pinkel appears to be tired of college football fans and analysts using Georgia's numerous injuries as an excuse for why the Bulldogs lost this past Saturday in Athens. He also wants to make it clear that his offense didn't just dominate a bunch of second-string players. Via Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:
For what it's worth, Missouri's offense caught the injury bug as well during the second half, as quarterback James Franklin severely injured his shoulder and will miss significant time. The Tigers were able to score two offensive touchdowns after Franklin's injury, as well.
Missouri will have a few more opportunities to show that it's for real - the Tigers still have Florida, South Carolina and Texas A&M left on the schedule.
