Mizzou Football Picks Up Eddie Printz And Nate Crawford

Two more commit to the Tigers.

Class of 2013 quarterback Eddie Printz and defensive end Nate Crawford both committed to Missouri this weekend.

Printz is a three-star pro-style quarterback, according to Rivals. He plays at Lassiter high school in a suburb of Atlanta. Rivals tabs him as the 29th ranked pro-style quarterback in the class and the 51st best prospect from the state of Georgia.

Crawford is also a three-star player on Rivals. He is from Pensacola, Florida, which is in the northwest part of the state near Alabama.

The significance of the double commitment this weekend is geography. Being able to successfully recruit in SEC country such as Florida and Georgia is crucial. In the Big 12, the Tigers did well recruiting three-star prospects from Texas and turning those players into valuable parts of the team. As long as coach Gary Pinkel is at Mizzou, there will be a connection to the state of Texas. Now that the Tigers are in the SEC, it is time to build strong ties for the southeast region.
