John Kadlec, the man known as "Mr. Missouri," died earlier this week. He was 86.
Kadlec, from St. Louis, played football for Missouri more than 60 years ago. He was an all-conference player for the Tigers in 1950. He was later an assistant coach for Missouri under four different coaches - Don Faurot, Frank Broyles, Dan Devine and Al Onofrio.
Missouri, which takes on Kentucky today, is honoring Kadlec with a "Mr. Mizzou" decal on the back of its helmets.
Missouri and Kentucky are set to kick off at 4 p.m. E.T. The game will be televised on the SEC Network.
