Sheldon Richardson Declares For NFL Draft

A huge loss.

Missouri junior defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson has declared for the NFL Draft. This means that Richardson will forego his senior year at Mizzou in order to enter this year's draft.

The decision comes as no surprise to anyone. Richardson is projected to be a first round pick by many draft experts. Coach Gary Pinkel previously said he would support Richardson's decision to enter the draft if projections had him going in round one.

In addition, Richardson was suspended for the Syracuse game for failing to attend class. This led many fans to believe Richardson was already out the door and thinking about his NFL prospects.

Richardson's departure will be tough for the Tigers to overcome. The behemoth defensive tackle was no doubt Mizzou's best player this season.Lucas Vincent will now be projected to start next season in Richardson's place.
