The No. 1 ranked receiver in the class of 2013 on Rivals.com is set to visit Mizzou the weekend of October 6.

Four-star prospect Laquon Treadwell revealed on this Twitter account that he will be coming to Columbia for the Vanderbilt game:

Treadwell is from Crete, IL, which is a suburb of Chicago. The Tigers landed the top wide receiver recruit in the class of 2012 when Dorial Green-Beckham announced his decision on National Signing Day.

Mizzou has done well on the recruiting trail since the conference move. They have have 16 commitments in the class of 2013. Coach Gary Pinkel and his staff have done well keeping Missouri kids at home, as 11 of the 16 commitments are from the Show Me State.

The three four-star recruits are athlete Chase Abbington, linebacker Nick Ramirez and offensive lineman Jake Campos. Abbington and Ramirez are from Missouri, and Campos resides in Iowa.
