Photo: Schoolchildren In Starkville Get Taught Classes About The SEC


Today marks the day that the SEC begins its quest to crown an 8th straight national champion -- there is no doubt which conference has been far and away the most successful since the turn of the century.

It has been noted on here many times just how crazy and passionate SEC football fans are. Not only do they go nuts about not only their teams, but they do the same for conference "rivals" as well.

Today, we came across an example of just how wild the South is about college football -- it's something that is literally taught in the schools:

Yes, that is a Starkville schoolteacher, Ms. Spradling, having her students match up SEC schools with their logos. When it comes to football, they start 'em young in SEC territory.
