In late May, it was announced that South Carolina quarterback Connor Mitch, who joined the program in 2013 and started a few games this past season before injuring his shoulder, would be transferring ahead of the 2016 campaign. Monday, Mitch announced his destination.
Mitch will transfer to James Madison and be eligible to play for two more seasons. He announced the news on Twitter, and thanked his friends, teammates, coaches and fans.

Mitch finished the 2015 season 13-of-29 for 165 yards and a touchdown. He’ll be eligible to play immediately for JMU.
