Photos: 4-Star Brandon McIlwain Had A "Great" In-Home Visit With Will Muschamp, New South Carolina Staff

After the retirement of Steve Spurrier, there were some major fears about South Carolina losing prized quarterback commit Brandon McIlwain. The four-star Pennsylvania Gatorade Player of the Year received an in-home visit from James Franklin and Penn State last week, and is also considering entering the MLB Draft, where he is considered a top prospect.

South Carolina is still very much involved, however. On Wednesday night, McIlwain hosted head coach Will Muschamp, offensive coordinator Kurt Roper, and defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson for an in-home visit.

Holding on to McIlwain would go a long way for Muschamp in his efforts to win over Gamecocks fans. It looks like he's off to a good start in that department.
