South Carolina's Most-Likely Bowl Game Heading Into The Final Weekend

The South Carolina Gamecocks finished the regular season with a 3-5 mark in the SEC and a 6-6 record overall. Let's take a look at where the team could be headed this post-season.

South Carolina, in its first year of the Will Muschamp era, put together a 6-6 record with wins over Vanderbilt, East Carolina, UMass, Tennessee, Missouri and Western Carolina. The team's losses? Mississippi State, Kentucky, Texas A&M, Georgia, Florida and Clemson.

South Carolina finished tied for fifth place in the SEC East - with Vanderbilt. The only team below the Gamecocks in the standings was Missouri.

At the moment, CBS Sports' Jerry Palm has South Carolina headed to the Independence Bowl to take on NC State. The Independence Bowl is played in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 26.
