In the early 1990s, Jack Jackson was an explosive wide receiver and return man for Steve Spurrier's high-octane Florida teams.
Fast forward some 20-plus years, and Jackson's son is prepared to follow his father's footsteps and suit up for the Head Ball Coach. Tre Jackson, a three-star cornerback out of Baton Rouge (La.) University Lab, committed to play for Spurrier at the University of South Carolina minutes ago.

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound Jackson is the No. 66 cornerback in the 2016 class per 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He held offers from Florida, Mississippi State, TCU and Oklahoma, among others.
