The final boxscore might indicate that Clemson dominated South Carolina, but the Gamecocks showed resiliency in a hostile environment on Saturday. Now, they'll wait for their chance to make some noise in their upcoming bowl game.

South Carolina owns just a 6-5 record, but every loss came to a ranked opponent. Clearly, Will Muschamp is building the program back to where it wants to be.

With bowl projections for this season already available on several sites, let’s look at what experts are saying for the Gamecocks.

Jerry Palm of CBS Sports has South Carolina in the Liberty Bowl against TCU.

College Football News has the Gamecocks in the Belk Bowl against the NC State Wolfpack.

Eric Single of Sports Illustrated released his projection, and he also has South Carolina in the Belk Bowl, but against Duke.

South Carolina has shown it can compete with some of the best programs in the country over the course of this season. The official bowl game matchups are almost here, and the Gamecocks will have an opportunity to take another step in the right direction.
