On Saturday, the South Carolina Gamecocks will face the Tennessee Volunteers in an SEC showdown. Both teams are coming off a loss and are looking to get back on the right track.

Following an upset win over Georgia on the road, South Carolina nearly pulled off another win over a ranked opponent. Last weekend, the Gamecocks were leading over the Florida Gators heading into the fourth quarter.

Ryan Hilinksi didn't perform well against Florida, but the freshman quarterback is due for a bounce-back performance this weekend. He's going up against a Tennessee defense that gives up 27 points per game.

Tennessee could be without quarterback Brian Maurer this Saturday. The coaching staff needs to be cautious with his health since he's left the past two games due to a concussion.

Maurer is listed as doubtful for the game, which means Jarrett Guarantano is most likely going to start.

Here are the details for the South Carolina-Tennessee game:

Game Time: 4:00 p.m. ET

Channel: SEC Network

Spread: South Carolina -4.5

Over/Under: 47

Announcers: Taylor Zarzour, Matt Stinchcomb, Alyssa Lang

ESPN's Football Power Index gives South Carolina a 61.2 percent chance of defeating Tennessee.

The Gamecocks need to put together a winning streak if they want to be bowl eligible this season, and defeating the Volunteers on Saturday would be a nice start.
