Last year LSU made quick work of the entire SEC en route to a 15-0 record and arguably the greatest season in college football history. But with so many changes coming to LSU, there could be a new SEC title winner in 2020. The sports books certainly indicate as much.

According to BetOnline via Cole Cubelic, Alabama has emerged as the early favorite for the 2020 SEC title. The oddsmakers have given Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide minus-120 odds of winning the conference.

Coming in at second are the LSU Tigers at +275, followed by Georgia at +400 and Florida at +600. Auburn and Texas A&M were the only other teams to get better than 100/1 odds of winning the title.

At the bottom of the list were Arkansas and Vanderbilt. They both received 250/1 odds of winning the 2020 SEC title.

Alabama's presence as the title favorite should come as little surprise. Between them, LSU and Georgia it is the only team deploying a QB who started any games for them last year.

There's also the matter of Alabama bringing back several key players from 2019 and acquiring yet another elite recruiting class.

2019 may have been a snag in Nick Saban's pursuit of a seventh national title, but it looks like he'll be back on track in 2020.
