Tennessee star forward Grant Williams is officially leaving Knoxville. Williams announced this morning that he is staying in the 2019 NBA Draft.
The consensus 2019 SEC Player of the Year and a consensus first-team All-American, Williams helped lead the Volunteers to the Sweet 16. He averaged 18.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game, all of which were career-highs.
Williams also recorded career-best field goal (56.4) and free throw (81.9) percentages and averaged more than one steal and one block per game.
He revealed his final draft decision in a sit-down interview with Stadium.

A former three-star recruit, Williams scored 1,629 points, grabbed 678 rebounds and blocked 166 shots in three seasons at UT.
The 2019 NBA Draft will be held Thursday, June 20 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
