Worley beat out Joshua Dobbs and Nathan Peterman for the job, although Jones expects both to continue to compete for the back-up job, and to push Worley.

Tennessee's schedule is pretty tough early on. Utah State and Arkansas State are both bowl-caliber teams, and after those two, the Vols have Big 12 favorite Oklahoma, and SEC East power Georgia. Having a senior under center may help the team make it through that difficult first third of the season.
