Health problems may be keeping Dick Vitale from calling the 2022 NCAA Tournament. But they certainly won't stop him from expressing his fury at two decisions by the Selection Committee.

Taking to Twitter a short while ago, Dickie V was fuming at the placement of SEC champion Tennessee as a 3 seed and Big Ten champion Iowa as a 5 seed. He challenged the committee on both of their respective placements.

"Come on how in the world is [Tennessee] a 3 seed? They deserve & earned a spot on the 2nd line having won 12 of 13 in the toughest conf," Vitale wrote of the Vols.

"Has the committee been watching (Iowa?)" he tweeted a few minutes later. "At worse they should have been at least a 4 seed."

Clearly the Selection Committee didn't value the performance of teams in their respective conference tournaments that much. The champions of the Big Ten, SEC and ACC all got ranked well below other teams in their conference.

Tennessee's position seems especially egregious given that they're the only team outside of the Pac-12 to knock off No. 2 overall-ranked Arizona. It doesn't take more than a cursory glance to see that fans agree on that.

Iowa have also just pulled off a sensational season that has the Hawkeyes on the verge of breaking school wins records.

But hey - the Selection Committee can't please everyone every time.

It's just a shame that they had to upset Dick Vitale like that.
