ESPN college football reporter Brett McMurphy usually just sticks to breaking news. Wednesday night, he branched out a bit, dropping one of the biggest troll jobs of the year on Twitter.
With the Cubs holding a 4-0 lead and Jake Arrieta looking dominant midway through last night's National League Wild Card Game, McMurphy joked that the Pirates were done for, unless Chicago hired Tennessee head coach Butch Jones after halftime. Jones' Volunteers have blown a number of second-half leads this season - including against Oklahoma and Florida.

Tennessee fans probably don't appreciate the joke. But you can't argue that it wasn't well-played.
