Ex-Tennessee OL Mack Crowder Arrested, Charged With Multiple Child Sex Crimes

Former Tennessee offensive lineman Mack Crowder was arrested last night in Pinellas County, Fla. and charged with multiple child sex crimes after authorities claim he engaged in a sexual conversation online with a person he thought was a 14-year-old girl. Crowder was arrested Tuesday when he attempted to meet up with that person in Pinellas County.

The news was first reported by WFLA

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, Crowder's arrest was part of “Operation Wayfarer," a sting that "targets adult males that are seeking out underage females on the internet for the purpose of engaging them in sexual activity." The 23-year-old Crowder allegedly sent four pictures of “his sexual organ," and solicited the minor to engage in sexual acts with him on multiple occasions, per the PCSO.

He is charged with one-count certain use of computer services and four-counts of transmission of material harmful to a minor. He was released from jail this morning on a $50,000 bond, according to WFLA

Crowded played in 22 games, starting 14, over the past two seasons.
