Former Tennessee Coach Phil Fulmer On Peyton Manning: He's The Best QB Of All-Time

If Peyton Manning's football career is over (and it sure looks like it is after the Denver Broncos' Super Bowl victory), he's leaving the game as the best of all-time at his position.

That's what his college coach thinks, anyway.

Aaron Torres of FOX Sports spoke to Phil Fulmer, who coached Manning at Tennessee from 1994-97. The 65-year-old former coach thinks Manning is the best to ever do it behind center.

From the story:

"This is certainly arguable, but in my mind, and in my very biased opinion, he's the best that's played the position in the game," Fulmer said. "He's done it in a lot of different ways. When he had a running game and when he didn't. When he had a defense and when he didn't. When he was on a great team and when he wasn't."

Oh, and there's one more thing too.

"He's done it with class (the entire time)," Fulmer said.

"Very biased opinion" is a very key phrase there, but it's still incredibly high praise.

Manning is expected to make his decision on retirement within the next month or so. All signs are pointing toward No. 18 hanging up his cleats.
