Tennessee AD Phillip Fulmer has a theme going.
Tennessee is still looking for its next head coach, though since the school made the change from John Currie to Phillip Fulmer at AD, things have been a bit calmer. According to a report, Fulmer has spoken to three separate candidates this week – and all of them are currently defensive coordinators in the SEC.
Fulmer, according to ESPN’s Chris Low, has spoken to Alabama DC Jeremy Pruitt, Auburn DC Kevin Steele and Georgia DC Mel Tucker. So basically the defensive coordinators for the three best teams in the SEC this past year.
Low says Fulmer wants to “wrap up” the search today.
