Photo: Fans Are Leaving This Primetime Game In The 3rd Quarter
Florida vs. Tennessee is a match-up of two SEC East teams amid rebuilds with new coaches. One of those programs looks a lot further along today.
Florida leads the game 33-6 early in the third quarter. Some fans have already gotten a jump on Neyland Stadium traffic.
Things were bad enough for the Vols, with a 26-3 deficit at the half. It got worse immediately in the second frame.
Florida forced a fumble on the second half kickoff, with Brian Edwards making the recovery on Shawn Shamburger's turnover.
On the very next play, Florida's Jordan Scarlett broke a 19-yard touchdown run to make it 33-3.
That was all some Tennessee football fans needed to see with this game vs. Florida.
The cameras caught a number of Vols filing out after that Scarlett touchdown.
And those who stayed, they will be...disappointed.
Tennessee did manage some points on the next drive, but it is still a 33-6 game. The offense is going to need to start getting to the end zone to cut this down.
