Photo: Tennessee Honoring Nebraska's Sam Foltz With Helmet Stickers At Music City Bowl

All season, Nebraska opponents have paid homage to late Huskers punter Sam Foltz, who died in a tragic car accident during the off-season. For the Music City Bowl, Tennessee football will do the same.

Tennessee football tweeted a photo of the back of one of its "smokey grey" helmets, which now features a red "SF27" sticker to commemorate Foltz.

A number of Nebraska's other opponents have made similar gestures with their uniforms this year, while others have gifted the program custom jerseys and other items. The Big Ten also made commemorative game coins, featuring Sam Foltz and Michigan State's Mike Sadler, who was killed in the same accident, on either side.

Classy gesture by the Vols ahead of tomorrow's Music City Bowl. Tennessee and Nebraska kick off at 3:30 p.m. at Nashville's Nissan Stadium.
