It’s rare that a story about bullying has a happy ending. But that may be exactly what we got in a story about a Tennessee fan who was bullied at a Florida middle school.
Earlier this month, a Tennessee fan brought a homemade Tennessee-themed shirt to school, only to be bullied for it. When the story reached the University of Tennessee, the school responded by turning the design into a t-shirt.
That t-shirt has since sold out and even crashed the school’s online merchandise store from the demand.
But the University of Tennessee has gone even further for the child.
According to the school’s official website, the University of Tennessee has extended an admission offer and full scholarship to the 11-year-old student. Should he accept the offer and be academically eligible, he would be able to attend in 2028.
This is incredible. More than ever we need to highlight the good in this world. And there’s a lot of it all around us. Good on you, Tennessee. https://t.co/rgQ6ZGxJYa

Tennessee plays against Florida in Gainesville later this month. You can be that a ton of visiting Vols fans will be wearing that t-shirt for the game.
What a way to turn a negative into a positive!
