Tennessee Hail Mary gives Vols unbelievable win over Georgia in Athens.

With 10 seconds left in tonight's SEC East battle between Georgia and Tennessee, it looked like a pair of Georgia freshmen had given Dawgs fans a reason for some serious hope this season. Jacob Eason found Riley Ridley for a go-ahead 47 yards score.

Don't write off the 2016 Vols, however. Tennessee apparently has nine lives this year, and used one to great effect between the hedges. With four seconds on the clock, and the ball at the Georgia 43-yard line, Josh Dobbs found Jauan Jennings in the end zone, surrounded by Georgia defenders, for the winning touchdown. Video,

Wow. Just wow.

College football has been pretty crazy over the last hour or so, but it will be hard to top this Tennessee win.

Dobbs finished with a pretty impressive stat line, completing 16-of-26 passes for 229 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. He also ran the ball 11 times for 26 yards and a score. Alvin Kamara led the way on the ground for the Vols with 62 yards on 16 carries, but Georgia's defense held Tennessee's dangerous ground attack to just 3.3 yards per carry.

Despite the Tennessee Hail Mary win trumping his own last second heroics, Georgia fans should be happy with the performance that Eason had today. The freshman was 17-for-28 for 211 yards and two touchdowns, with one pick. He also ran for a touchdown. Sony Michel was very good handling lead back duties for the Bulldogs, rushing for 91 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Isaac Nauta, yet another UGA freshman, was Eason's favorite target, catching five passes for 83 yards and a score.

The game pushes the Vols to 5-0, and in control of the SEC East race, with big wins over Florida and Georgia in back-to-back weeks. Next Saturday, they head to College Station to face undefeated Texas A&M. We can't wait.
