Jabari Davis Tweets That Former Tennessee Players Were Asked To Leave Field, Given "Worst Seats" In Neyland Stadium

Tennessee coach Butch Jones has made alumni outreach an important part of his program, and few former Vols support their alma mater like Jabari Davis, who played running back in Knoxville from 2001-2004. Davis, who has "VFL," or "Vol For Life," in his Twitter handle, had a series of tweets last night about a poor experience at Neyland Stadium. Apparently, he was asked to leave the field, and was given terrible seats along with other alumni.

Davis doesn't blame Jones or anyone with the team at all, and expressed his support for the staff, but it doesn't sound like things were handled well.

Like other Tennessee supporters, he wasn't too thrilled with the play on the field either.

Obviously this is not as big a deal as the three awful losses that Tennessee has suffered this year, but it definitely doesn't help matters for a program looking for some positive things to cling to.
