The Tennessee coaching search has reached peak insanity.

Tennessee still has a vacant head coaching job, and at this point, it's anyone's guess as to who is going to wind up filling the role. One famous Knoxville resident, who appears to be dialed in on the Vols' coaching search, posted an interesting update on Thursday morning.

Glenn Jacobs, who plays wrestler Kane in the WWE, says that he's been told that Les Miles is interested in the Tennessee job. Jacobs is running for mayor in Kxoxville.

Jacobs supposedly got the info from a good friend who works with Miles.

Miles, at this point, would be a huge get for the program. He's won a national title, he knows how to win in the league and he knows how to recruit in the Southeast. All that said, he's 64 years old - so he's a bit older than some of the other candidates out there.
