This has been a life changing and truly humbling experience to say the least. I want to thank all of the schools and coaches who have recruited me throughout this difficult process. From 90 to 1....PRAISE GOD!!! After thorough analyzation with my family I am truly BLESSED to be committed to Texas A&M University !!!

247Sports ranks Hines the second-best inside linebacker, and the No. 11 player in the state of Texas.
Back in July, Hines dropped a loaded top 10 schools list. He chose A&M over offers from Auburn, Florida, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, SMU, TCU, Texas, and UCLA.
Hines is the 24th player to join Texas A&M's 2017 class, which 247 ranks 6th in the country and 4th in the SEC.
