Recruiting can be a tough business, particularly for the recruits themselves. While sometimes players want to wait to make informed, well thought-out decisions, they don't always get that luxury -- if another player commits to the school they want, their spot could be gone in an instant.
Brandon Harris is one of the top quarterback recruits in the country right now, but today eliminated Texas A&M from consideration after the Aggies received a commitment from another top quarterback, Kyle Allen. But it was extremely refreshing to see how Harris handled the news in a classy manner -- he tweeted out a statement thanking Texas A&M for offering him in the first place, and wishing the school luck in the future:
Harris has other offers from Auburn, Bama, Baylor, LSU, Ole Miss, and Ohio State, so he should be fine -- somebody is going to get a very good player and person.
