Here Are Johnny Manziel's Stats From Final CFL Preseason Game Saturday

Johnny Manziel's comeback attempt continues in the CFL. The league's preseason ended last night and the regular season is on the horizon.

Manziel finished his tuneup games with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on a strong note last night. He played well in extended action.

Manziel completed 12-of-20 passes for 88 yards and a touchdown and also rushed for 19 yards in Hamilton's 30-15 win over the Montreal Alouettes.

When the regular season starts, Manziel is set to back up Jeremiah Masoli, but with Masoli sitting out last night, Johnny Football got a long look.

"By no means is it perfect, or close to perfect, but there are some flashes, things I know and feel comfortable with,'' Manziel said, via ESPN. "There are things that I should hit on the field that I missed today. That's just part of trying to get better and get back in a feel of playing ball every day, week in and week out. Any time I'm getting in and getting reps and getting a chance to take live reps like today, that's a positive day.''

We still don't know how much Manziel will play when the games count for real. His comeback attempt remains very much an unknown at this point.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats begin regular season games next Saturday against Calgary.
