Texas A&M is gaining a number of new Aggies today, but one veteran, running back James White, is on his way out.
After four years in College Station, White will transfer to FCS Lamar to finish up his collegiate eligibility.
Lamar announced the transfer this morning.
After redshirting in 2013, White ran for 458 yards and seven touchdowns on 101 carries in three years with the Aggies.
The Pearland, Texas native is a former four-star recruit.
A&M returns Trayveon Williams, who rushed for 1,057 yards and eight touchdowns as a freshman, as well as Keith Ford, who rushed for 669 yards and six touchdowns in 2016. The Aggies also add three-star recruit Jacob Kibodi in the class of 2017.
