John Harris Compares Texas A&M's Mike Evans To Alshon Jeffery: "His Speed And Size Is Just Sick"

Most of the Texas A&M-related chatter circling the NFL Combine was about Johnny Manziel, but he was certainly not the only Aggie to shine. His favorite target, star receiver Mike Evans, also put together some impressive measurables. On the TexAgs radio program this morning The Sideline View's John Harris heaped major praise on Evans.

The Alshon Jeffery comparisons are definitely apt, and after the year Jeffery put together in Chicago, plenty of teams are going to want a possession-type receiver like that. The fact that Evans ran a very solid 4.53 40 at his size only helps.

Harris wasn't afraid to compare Evans favorably to Sammy Watkins, the presumed top receiver in the draft, either.

While it's probably a reach to say Evans will go before Watkins in the draft, any coach or GM who gets either star receiver should be happy with the addition to his team.
