Johnny Manziel Has Announced A Date That He’ll Go Sober

As we've covered already this week, Johnny Manziel is partying in Cabo, and his father is very, very worried for his well-being

Now, according to TMZ, Manziel, who is partying at a mansion in Cabo where at least one person is using drugs, says he is going stone-cold sober starting July 1.

From TMZ:

Here's what we do know ... Manziel is staying in the insanely expensive Cabo mansion with 20 people, not all of whom he knows.

For his part, Manziel tells TMZ Sports he's NOT doing any drugs in Mexico and says he's going completely sober starting July 1st ... no booze, eating right and training like crazy.

Time will tell if Manziel will quit his drug and alcohol habits, but it would certainly behoove him to do so, even if his NFL career is over.

At the end of the day, him being able to live and function is more important than if he can live up to the legend of Johnny Football.
