Johnny Manziel Helping Out Fellow Texas A&M Student Who Has Cancer

Johnny Manziel has certainly made his mistakes, but this week, he’s using his platform for a great cause.

Former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, who is back on campus taking classes at the moment, is using his massive social media reach for a great cause this week. A young woman named Shelby Smith, who just arrived on campus, has been diagnosed with olfactory neuroblastoma. Manziel helped share her GoFundMe page, which was set up to help raise $50,000 for her medical costs.

The page has already raised $60,000 – which is incredible. While it’s unclear how much Manziel had to do with it, it certainly didn’t hurt.

Aggies never fight alone. Cant imagine going through something like this, let alone finding out on such a special day and big time in your life. I wish you all the best and you will be in my prayers continuously. Link for the GoFundMe in my Bio #gigemforever?

Let’s hope Smith gets well soon. She certainly has a lot of people rooting for her.
