Johnny Manziel may have officially left college for the NFL a few months ago, but his presence is still being felt on campus at Texas A&M. Wednesday afternoon, the nation's No. 1 ranked dual-threat quarterback, Kyler Murray, officially committed to play for the Aggies in 2015. Murray, whose father Kevin starred for the program in the 1980s, had narrowed his decision down to either Texas A&M or Oregon. Oddly enough, those are the two schools that Manziel also had to choose between.
Manziel said that he talked to Murray last night. He then congratulated him on his decision.
">@TheKylerMurray last night and couldn't be happier for him. Welcome to the family my brother go ball this year! #GigEm

Manziel's success both at Texas A&M and under coach Kevin Sumlin has been a huge asset to the program in the recruiting department. We'll see if it translates to on-field results.
