Kevin Sumlin Announces Trevor Knight Will Be Texas A&M's Starting Quarterback

It doesn't look like Texas A&M will have a quarterback controversy to deal with this offseason. Monday, Aggies head coach Kevin Sumlin officially named Trevor Knight, a senior transfer from Oklahoma, as the team's starting signal-caller. Knight beat out junior quarterback Jake Hubenak for the job.

Knight spent four years at Oklahoma. After an incredible performance against Alabama in the Sugar Bowl, he was named OU's starter ahead of the 2014 campaign. In 2015, he lost the job to Baker Mayfield.
