2021 defensive end Landon Jackson is an elite prospect with lots of offers on the table. Though he’s not ready to announce his decision, he has narrowed down the list.
Taking to Twitter on Friday, Jackson revealed his the top ten list of schools he “would like to focus on.” The phrasing seems to indicate that he hasn’t entirely closed off the list yet.
Jackson’s list is a who’s-who of elite programs and Power Five schools. The list consists of Alabama, Arkansas, LSU, Texas A&M, Miami, Notre Dame, Nebraska, Washington, Oklahoma, and Texas.
247Sports rates Jackson as a four-star recruit and the No. 36 overall prospect in the Class of 2021. He is the No. 3 weak-side defensive end in the nation, and the No. 7 prospect from the state of Texas.

A rising junior at Pleasant Grove High School, Jackson has recorded 154 tackles, 31 tackles for loss, 20.5 sacks, six passes defended and three forced fumbles over his first two years of high school.
He had an injury-shorted 2018 campaign but still finished the year with nine sacks, 15 tackles for loss and first-team all-district honors.
As of writing, 247Sports is tipped the Texas A&M Aggies to land his commitment with 67-percent of the early predictions at the site’s crystal ball. The Texas Longhorns come in second with the remaining 33-percent.
