There have been a lot of fascinating player moves in the NCAA transfer portal this year. But one new addition to the portal could potentially see a championship coach reuniting with his son.
According to SEC Network analyst Cole Cubelic, Texas A&M fullback Ben Miles has entered the transfer portal. Ben is the son of former LSU and current Kansas head coach Les Miles.
Ben Miles started his college career at Nebraska in 2017, but transferred to Texas A&M the following year.

Coming out of high school, Miles was a three-star prospect and the No. 1131 overall player in the country. He was the No. 2 fullback in the nation and the No. 44 prospect from the state of Louisiana, per 247Sports.
Now that Ben Miles in the transfer portal, his father’s new gig at Kansas could be on his radar.
Les signed a five-year, $13.8 million contract with the Jayhawks football team late last year after spending the previous two seasons out of football.
Of course, it’s also possible that Ben will simply try his hand at a different school altogether. He wouldn’t be the first son of a football coach to go his own way.
It will be interesting to see if Les recruits his son to join him though.
