Report: Johnny Manziel's Family Lake House Burnt Down Last Night, Arson Suspected

A crazy story coming out of Whitehouse, Texas this morning. A lake house belonging to the family of ex-Texas A&M star and current Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was ravaged by fire, and arson is the suspected cause. This info comes courtesy of a report from

Smith County Fire Marshal Jay Brooks provided some details on the blaze to WKYC.

Fire crews from Whitehouse, Flint Gresham and Chapel Hill were called on to the scene, as well as the Smith County Sheriff's office. According to Brooks, the fire is suspicious in nature. They are investigating it thoroughly.

Arson investigators from the State Fire Marshals Office are being called in to do a search on the residence. Arson canines will also be called.

This is a potentially wild situation. Hopefully, investigators are able to get to the bottom of whatever may have happened here.
