With the NFL Draft less than a week away, all 32 teams are narrowing down their targets to potentially select in the first round. Unfortunately, it appears that Montez Sweat is being taken off certain teams' boards.

Sweat is one of the most intriguing prospects in all of the draft for multiple reasons. His 22.5 combined sacks over the past two years speaks for itself, but there is a major issue regarding his health.

The Mississippi State product is sliding down draft boards due to a preexisting heart condition. It didn't affect his production in college, yet there hasn't been a player in the NFL to play under the same circumstances.

According to NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero, the concern surrounding his heart condition has resulted in a few teams taking him off their board entirely.

Other franchises have interest in Sweat, but they must take necessary precautions to keep him healthy.

Last year, Maurice Hurst went from being a projected first-round pick to going in the fifth round. He was also diagnosed with a heart condition, which played a role in his draft stock plummeting.

Unlike Hurst, Sweat was able to participate at the NFL Combine. He ran a 4.41-second 40-yard dash, setting a NFL record for the fastest time at his position.

It'll be interesting to see if Sweat does fall in the draft on Thursday.
