Bruce Feldman went on The Paul Finebaum Show on Thursday and made a very bold prediction for Alabama vs. Texas A&M.

Alabama is a 19-point favorite against Texas A&M this weekend. That is a lot of points for a game between two undefeated SEC teams, but based on how Alabama has run through teams, especially Tennessee last weekend, it is hard to pick against the Crimson Tide.

Feldman is more brave than I am. He hopped on with Finebaum on Thursday, and predicted that the Aggies would pull the upset at Bryant-Denny Stadium. He cites Trevor Knight's ability to push the ball downfield and Texas A&M's great receiving corps as a major advantage for the Aggies, and thinks this could be a let down spot for the Tide after the blowout win over the Vols.

"I think they have a chance to hit big shots down the field because their receivers are really good... I just have a hunch that they're going to play very well... I just have a hunch that they won't be that sharp this time around."

A very surprised Finebaum reiterated Feldman's upset pick, and the FOX Sports analyst said he understands that it is a bold take.

"Get the straight-jacket ready for me, I know Paul. It sounds nuts, and I'm probably gonna be wrong. It'll probably be 59-3."

Feldman is also very interested in an interesting stat about A&M coach Kevin Sumlin. He is 5-2 in games in which his team is a double-digit underdog. From his FOX Sports column on the matter:

Overall, Sumlin’s teams have been a double-digit underdog seven times. He’s won five of those games, with all of them on the road, and more impressively he’s 5-1 in them against ranked opponents and 4-1 against AP Top 10 teams as a huge ‘dog. That includes the Aggies' 41-38 win at No. 3 Auburn when A&M was a 23.5-point underdog.

It is definitely an impressive record, and worth nothing for sure. I'm just skeptical that it means that A&M is going to topple Alabama this weekend. The Aggies won't be sneaking up on anyone.
