While Texas A&M's football recruiting efforts are reeling, the basketball program, fresh off of an Sweet 16 run, just picked up a talented scoring guard to bolster next year's rotation. J.C. Hampton, a 6-foot-1 guard out of Lipscomb, will play for the Aggies this season after averaging 15.9 points per game last season.
